Privacy Policy
This policy explains how OddLot Goods ("we") handles your information when you use kustomkimonos.com or order from us.
What we collect
- Photos and prompts you upload or type to make a design, and the designs we make from them.
- Order details: your name, email, phone number, shipping address and what you ordered. Payment is handled by Shopify; we never see your full card number.
- Messages you send us, and your answers on your proof page (approve, change requests, cancel).
- Device and usage data: pages viewed, the ad or link that brought you here, and similar information collected by cookies and pixels (see below).
How we use it
- To make your designs, show you previews and proofs, and print and deliver your kimono.
- To email you about your order (proofs, reminders, shipping), and to call or text you about an unanswered proof if you gave a phone number.
- To prevent abuse and fraud, and to keep the site working.
- To measure and improve our ads.
Who helps us
We share information only with the companies that help us run the business, and only what they need:
- Shopify (checkout, payments and orders) and Printify with its print partners (printing and shipping).
- Anthropic and Fal (AI services that check uploads and draw designs from your photos and prompts).
- Cloudflare (website hosting, image storage and bot protection), Railway (our servers) and Google (order records).
- Postmark (order emails).
- Meta (ad measurement, through the Meta Pixel and Conversions API).
We don't sell your personal information. We may also share information when the law requires it, or to protect our rights or someone's safety.
Cookies and ads
We and Meta use cookies and a pixel to see which ads bring people to our site and which visits lead to a purchase. You can limit this through your browser's cookie settings and your Meta ad preferences. To opt out of us sharing your information with Meta for ads, email us.
How long we keep it
We delete your original photos automatically 90 days after your kimono is delivered, or 90 days after you upload them if you don't order. We keep the designs made from them and your order details as long as we need them to support your order (including reprints) and to meet tax and accounting rules. Ask us and we'll delete your photos and designs sooner, unless we still need them for an order that hasn't shipped yet.
Your choices and rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to opt out of ad sharing. Email support@kustomkimonos.com. Depending on where you live, you may have more rights under your state's law; we'll honour them and won't treat you differently for using them.
Children
Our site isn't meant for children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information. A parent or guardian can upload photos of their own children to make a kimono.
Security
Your original photos and print files are stored privately, not on public links. Design previews and proofs are kept at long, unguessable links so we can show them to you. No system is perfectly secure, but we limit access to the people and services who need it.
Changes
We may update this policy. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
